I work at this small computer fixing company around town. The people I work with are real nice, and we go out sometimes for drinks after work. There is this one girl though, Laura, who is SOOO beautiful.

Laura is real nice, smiles at everyone, and always seems to be in a good mood. I have a major crush on her. The problem is, I don't know how to ask her out. Whenever I try, I just get all tongue-tied. I can talk to her about anything else EXCEPT asking her out.

I want to ask her out to a real nice restaurant, but I don't know how to do it. If you have any ideas on what I can do, PLEASE HELP ME!

Dear Tongue-Tied,

Here's what you should do. During a conversation with her, stare at into her eyes then during a moment of silence as fast as you can say 'You are very beautiful": More than likely she will say "What?" Say it again slow and add "Would you like to go to dinner Thursday night at 'Fill in the Blank' Restaurant (have a date and place in mind us the NJ Dining Guide for ideas)

If you snooze you will loose! If you don't ask her out I'm going to…LOL

After reading your letter the romantic in me jumped up. Instead of your
mouth, let your fingers do the talking. A single rose or flower with a little note attached asking her out for dinner may do the trick.

Leave the flower on her desk or computer so she sees it when she comes into to work.
